Cacing tanah memiliki fungsi ekologis dan nilai ekonomi yang tinggi bagi yang membudidayakannya karena dapat menghasilkan berbagai macam produk yang bermanfaat bagi pertanian, peternakan dan kesehatan. African Night Crawler (ANC) merupakan salah satu jenis cacing tanah yang mudah dibudidayakan dan dapat diolah menjadi berbagai produk turunannya. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas mahasiswa tentang budidaya dan proses pengolahan pasca-panen cacing ANC sehingga dapat memberikan peluang usaha bagi mahasiswa. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan mulai Agustus sampai Oktober 2024 di CV. RAJ Organik, Sukun, Kota Malang. Metode pengumpulan data dan informasi dilakukan dengan pengamatan, praktek serta wawancara langsung di lapangan. Perusahaan ini bergerak dari hulu terkait dengan penyediaan bibit cacing sampai hilir yakni pengolahan cacing. Budidaya cacing ANC dilakukan dengan teknologi yang sederhana menggunakan petakan tanah dengan teduhan paranet dan tanaman markisa dengan wadah yang berbentuk kolam beton dengan alas tanah. Media yang digunakan berasal dari limbah organik yang telah difermentasi. Hasil panen cacing dapat dijual dalam bentuk segar, vermikompos, POC, cacing kering dan tepung cacing. Produk-produk ini bermanfaat sebagai tambahan nutrisi tanaman dan ternak serta sebagai suplemen kesehatan dan kosmetik. Kegiatan ini memberikan manfaat bagi mahasiswa dan masyarakat umumnya untuk mengembangkan wirausaha cacing tanah dalam bentuk kemitraan.
